I bought recently, the plastic bottoms are really sturdy quality plastic and the lids are also sturdy. Easy to clean, with stands dishwasher! Good for portion control but my containers leaked and the lids wouldn't stay on right so I can not recommend them to others and would not buy again. I sent mine back These were actually a heavier weight/quality than I had expected for the price.
