I had switched from plastic to glass, and now back to plastic, for the simple fact that plastic is lighter and (to me) seems easier to clean. This was a wedding gift sent to the happy couple. I'm sure they are enjoying it. It does the job. Clicks onto each other fairly easily. Storage is nice. I've only had it for so long, but I like 'em. Just as described and what you expect from a Rubbermaid product. When a third of this set can't fit a single egg in it ..... it's not practical. Loved the set becasue of all the features of it being a very uniform set with lids that snap together to make it easy to store away in what could be a messy drawer. This brand is OK, but do not microwave for longer than a minute or the lids will warp. Excellent works great, no leaks
