Can't rate it as a high end knife but it does its job in a non-fine dining restaurant Beautifully weighted and sharp. I can't speak to longevity of the edge, because it has gone to a second home and will be used in the summer. But others have spoken to that. Love this knife! Only had it about a month, ask me later down the road. Weight is good, but definitely not even sharp enough to deal with potatoes or sweet potatoes. Holds edge well.
