I used these right away on my Maltese, we live in the country and her hair was a mess, they worked well even on her hair that was matted in places. I love this. My cats are not scared of it and they actually try to rub on it. it is awesome. the only thing that I would say is the charge does not hold but that is ok. This is a good product! It's quite and it's easy to use! There's no cord to get in the way. I'm getting better at grooming all the time! I can make my Yorkie look so good ! Clippers are incredibly quiet, however they are also pretty weak. It seems to have trouble clipping the hair on both my dogs (westie/wheaton chihuahua/spaniel) even when fully... I used this to shave an old cat of mine. The plastic attachments are completely worthless because hair immediately snags and gets stuck which prevents the clippers from cutting... I was pleasantly surprised by the high quality of this product. It is very nice for the low price. It works great on my Sheltie/Aussie-mix. Cutting power isn't very strong. Dog hair kept getting stuck save they feel cheap. Not impressed at all. Low noise rechargeable grooming kit .
