I use Noodler's ink in all my fountain pens which flows well and I have never had problems with it. In this pen however, It seems to hang up. A real nice pen, however the bamboo wood stains with ink when you use the cover over the end of the pen. The wood soaks up the ink. OK, I love fountain pens and this one is no exception. I look for inexpensive ones to test out. I was one who bought a Mont Blanc pen back when they were $35--they now sell for... I don't know much about fountain pens, but it is quite small and within one day of use the wood was already chipping off. It is a solidly "decent" fountain pen. For the price I'd consider moving it up into the bottom of the "good" quality side. Great writing pen, will buy again if needed. I am pleased with the product. It has a nice feel to it. I am not a big fan of the case because I would have preferred something more elegant but it serves its purpose. wife loves it Lightning deal buy: originally $80, bought for $20.
