We are constantly trying to find fun ways for her to practice her fine motor skills. These are pretty cool for the kids but I think that they'd be too hard for 3 yr olds to put together and take apart plus they could be achoking hazard. Very nice set. Better than I expected. My daughter played with it right away. The cool bag was nice surprise. Thank you so much!!! These break WAY to easily! We break pieces off of them all of the time just by snapping them together, which is the whole point so it's extremely disappointing. These things are fantastic!! Keeps the mind creating. These are amazing! I got a set for my three year old who loves all things "building" he has absolutely loved it! Too easy to break!!!!! my grandbaby loves these. they are alot of fun to play with. I didn't realize how tiny these were! I originally purchased them thinking they would be great for my two year old. They do seem to be pretty well made. The pieces break very easily when you clip them together. After my 5-year-old daughter played with them a few times, many pieces had only 4 or 5 "arms" left.
